LaGrange County is a unique place made up of distinct but connected communities. Ambitious and entrepreneurial, neighborly and welcoming, the people of LaGrange are its greatest asset. The county is strong, with a growing population and a significant position in a dynamic economic region. The future, however, is not guaranteed.

LaGrange County Together is a community-driven process to prepare a comprehensive plan for the County, the towns of LaGrange, Shipshewana, Topeka, and Wolcottville, and all unincorporated areas. The 16 month process, led by the LaGrange County Plan Commission and the LaGrange County Community Foundation, is a blend of technical analysis and community engagement. In this time of growth and change, we have a special opportunity to unify our communities, work collaboratively, and decide what we want our future to look like.
