Teams collaborate on a countywide comprehensive planning process
Leaders from a wide variety of sectors have joined a countywide collaborative effort called LaGrange County Together, a comprehensive planning process for the communities of LaGrange County. With input from residents – and anyone who cares about LaGrange County – we will develop a comprehensive plan to guide the growth of the county, the towns of LaGrange, Shipshewana, Topeka, and Wolcottville, and all unincorporated areas. Central to this process is the 29-member Steering Committee, a collection of leaders from each of the county’s communities.
The Steering Committee will meet regularly throughout the process and represent the citizens of LaGrange County. Members advocate for the vision, provide guidance and direction regarding process and substance, help drive community involvement, and serve as stewards once the plan is completed.
